Custom Design Text & Graphic Examples

Custom images are not restricted to just text, or our popular fonts as illustrated below. It is probable that your own artwork can be produced, or your own choice of font

Text Examples

The first image below is an example of a dis-proportioned image. It is the image ABOVE - LEFT, which has retained the same height, but was stretched horizontally to twice the width

The examples below reflect a request to provide the staggered and inter-locked initials T & A in an Olde English style

The samples above were used below and we added the couples first names to enhance the choice. This element could easily be retained, or removed from this artwork leaving just the initials. We also added a 3 dimensional aspect to two of the samples

The simulated stamped prints below provide an indication of results using a Gold ink. The introduction of colour and/or embossing adds a new dimension and has to be appreciated when considering raw artwork

Another popular idea is to use a replica of the church venue on the front of the invitation. Typically, a JPEG colour photo is sent to us with the required repro width stated. We then remove any undesirable elements (notice boards, lampposts, grave stones etc) and characature the image to render it more symbolic than actual.

Example - The 150 dpi JPEG photograph below was converted to the smaller monotone image below it. The foreground monument was removed along with the railings and roadside. Trees were retained and the image stonework was characatured as described above. Also included is a stamped colour simulation. This type of image requires the more considerate stamping reproduction explained in the Half-Tone details below

You also need to realise that size reduction can also reduce fine detail to a point where it disappears, or cannot be discerned and such elements are evident in the examples below. Viewing a graphic at 2, or 4 times the required size is like reading very fine print through a magnifying glass. Remove the magnification and the detail is likely to suffer.

Aesthetics are in the eye of the beholder and your structure may well have more romantic allure. This example was chosen because it suitably illustrates the effect of removing foreign objects from the image

Half-Tone Bitmap Examples
Artwork Left - Stamped Example Right

Light detail - easy to reproduce

Moderate Detail - this sample was inked with felt pens and embossed with White Pearl powder

Greater Detail
This type of image requires light inking with a low viscosity (thin) grade ink and a smooth texture substrate to preserve the detail. Also light pressure stamping and maybe a primary blot print
